I help lawyers navigate the decision points in their careers. I educate associates, counsel, partners, and in-house lawyers on what is happening in the market and help guide them to achieve their long-term career goals. Sometimes that means helping to find a job at a new firm or in-house and sometimes that is counseling not to make a move. I help draft and edit resumes, prepare candidates for interviews, negotiate offers and more, working with my candidates throughout the entire job search.

Like at Marsden, I aided attorneys of various levels, practice areas, and backgrounds in navigating their careers.

I oversaw all editorial content in Vault's law vertical, the most promient of which was the Vault Guide to the Top 100 Law Firms (V100). I also blogged on legal careers and launched a new guide, the Vault Guide to Law Firm Summer Associate Programs and Interviewing.

At Baker I handled a variety of federal litigation matters, with a big chunk of my time devoted to representing the estate of Bernie Madoff’s investment firm to recover funds for the defrauded investors. I helped secure a $7 billion settlement, got JPMorgan to pay up for turning a blind eye to the fraud, and successfully sued the future VP.

I represented clients in federal and state litigation. My biggest win was helping New York State judges win a pay increase that was more than a decade overdue. They were earning less than I was as a baby lawyer at a large firm.
