The company does this through deep machine learning, coupled with one of the world’s largest passive candidate databases, while making high-conversion outreach as simple as one click. While working as Workplay Labs' EIR and founding Applause, I joined RecruitBot shortly after its seed round as interim Head of Product. • Lyric
    Vp Of Product
    Lyric Oct 2017 - Jun 2019
    New York, Ny, Us
Lyric was a professional operator of urban, short-term property rentals that combined the quality and consistency of a hotel experience with the space, flexibility, and community connection of a traditional short-term rental. As VP of Product, I led a team of 9 and drove the vision, definition, and execution of Lyric’s end-to-end suite of technology products — from internal operations tooling to customer-facing touch points to B2B SaaS offerings in the form of the Wheelhouse dynamic pricing engine. The product stack we created in-house enabled us to drive an over 10x increase in revenue, achieve a guest NPS of 60+ and raise the company’s $160M Series B round, led by Airbnb.Once COVID hit, the company pivoted back to focus solely on the Wheelhouse product (which saw an increase in MRR of over 3x during my time there due to an A/B testing framework we built).
  • Doppler Labs
    Vp Of Product
    Doppler Labs Apr 2015 - Aug 2017
    San Francisco, Ca, Us
As the first PM at Doppler Labs, a company that introduced in-ear computing for both AR and hearing health, I led definition and execution across all aspects of the company’s products, including hardware, firmware, backend, and our iOS / Android apps, growing revenue from $0 to $XM. While managing a team of 20 direct and non-direct reports across multiple disciplines, we shipped two iterations of our in-ear buds through which our customers could tune and enhance the world around them to their own preferences -- one iteration won SXSW’s 2016 ‘Best in Show’ and the other iteration, of which we sold XXK units, WIRED magazine called: "...one of the more thrilling gadgets I've tried in a long time.” The product also leveraged machine learning, together with a vast database of crowdsourced audio, to optimize noise suppression and amplification filters. These provided a salve to those with incurable hearing conditions who previously had no solution at all.
  • Dropbox
    Product Management Leader, Mobile
    Dropbox Aug 2013 - Apr 2015
    San Francisco, California, Us
At Dropbox, I was the sole product manager responsible for negotiation, definition, and execution of a multi-year partnership with Microsoft. I brought together over 70 folks at the company to deliver a first-of-its-kind integration that enabled over 1M active users to access and edit Office documents stored in their Dropbox on their phones, tablets, and the Dropbox.com website. To enable the integration, we created new Dropbox mobile SDKs and a Dropbox app for Windows Phone from scratch. I PM’d during the day and wrote a significant portion of the iOS integration myself at night. Following the launch of the integration, we utilized A/B testing to optimize adoption and engagement rates, eventually driving a 200% increase in mobile editing adoption. The integration remains active today and is featured prominently in the Dropbox mobile apps and on the Dropbox website.

Over 2+ years, we shipped multiple iterations of our Android and iOS apps with over 60% of users becoming recommendation publishers (vs. the typical 2 - 5% seen in products like Yelp); many users added well over 100 reviews. While at Livestar, I also hired and trained a team of 30+ data entry contractors in the Philippines to collect menu data. I designed and implemented the data entry system and ETL pipeline to collate a database of over 6M individual menu items, increasing throughput (number of items inputted per worker per hour) by almost 2x while reducing the error rate by c.50%.The company raised c.$2M in funding and was acquired by Pinterest in March 2013.
