Designed and implemented multi-threading pipeline processing optimizations for existing file and directory upload systems.Refactored and ported existing file and directory upload and download implementation from Scala to C#.Wrote unit and integration testing to verify the desired behavior of my code.

Built device ecosystem monitoring and feedback for the Widevine digital rights management system to protect content playback by increasing the amount of device usage and verification data in Widevine. Widevine processes tens of millions of protected video playbacks per day on a variety of content services like YouTube, HBO, and Hulu.Developed RPCs in Java and SQL to periodically import device data and store it in a distributed and fault tolerant database. Modified RPCs to respond to device data requests with device usage statistics and verification status.Developed integration and unit testing to verify the desired behavior of the system I built. Built part of the database used to store device data for the system I built. Developed monitoring for all RPCs I created.

Collaborated on Project Sidewalk web application, which uses crowdsourced data and machine learning to find inaccessible sidewalks and work with cities to address and visualize these issues.Developed CSV API in Scala, which helps our five international cities process data from Project Sidewalk to analyze accessibility data in their city.Integrated the i18next JavaScript library with Play Framework’s internationalization system to add compatibility for future languages as the project is deployed in more cities.

Delivered exceptional customer service to 200+ customers a day in-store and over the telephone at the largest Eddie Bauer Outlet store in the United States, both by square footage and foot traffic.Cultivated excellent multi-tasking skills by learning how to serve 10+ customers at once, splitting tasks between stock runs, outfitting customers, helping co-workers, and operating the cash register.Sold $38,000 worth of merchandise with the floor team in one day.

Trained and recruited two 25 person teams to collaboratively design and program their robots in Java while using Git.Facilitated weekly team discussion sessions to agree on robot design, consisting of team members sharing their ideas and coming to a consensus as a group.
