Administrative assistant to the director of Special Services and the Child Study Team.

The Membership and Marketing Director is responsible for recruitment and retention of YMCA members and program participants through branch marketing and member appreciation strategies, promotions and events for the public. The Membership and Marketing Director also uses social media and other marketing tools to get the message of the YMCA to the public. Other responsibilities include staffing, creating and trading staff on current procedures, Membership sales and renewal, dissemination of information, registrations and the monitoring of members and member related issues.

The Aquatics Coordinator assists the Aquatics Director in day to day operations of the pool and acting as a liaison between members, aquatics staff, and the Aquatics Director to have our program run efficiently. Also leading the department in the event that the Aquatics Director is out of the office. Often working with other coordinators in the association for various programs. Duties include the scheduling of swim lessons and water aerobics classes. Managing the schedule of the lifeguards and swim instructors, leading bimonthly meetings/training's, and mentoring the staff with new teaching techniques and working up to the YMCA standards and expectations set by our association corporate office. Along side the Aquatics Director the Aquatics Coordinator also pitches ideas to corporate on how to grow our program, and bring more revenue into the association,

A Deck Supervisor is the lead lifeguard and swim instructor . Duties included assisting the aquatic director with various aspects of the aquatic area. Also overseeing and organizing all swim lessons and instructors. Running meetings every three months in regards to new ways of teaching skills to children during swim lessons. Mentoring new/younger staff members to work to YMCA expectations and regulations.

Along with the help of the Aquatics Director, as the Event Coordinating Intern we planned and hosted a Swim with Santa event to help raise money for the YMCA's annual campaign. Responsibilities included creating flyers and newspaper announcements, community outreach to promote the even as well as collect donations, come up with and execute a floor plan and the decor and to host the event.
