Human Resources Director supporting 19 manufacturing facilities and a team of eight Human Resources professionals within North America

Human Resources Manager of a safety and identification solutions organization. Responsible for 230 employees located at our Chicago, Buffalo and Markham Ontario facilities.

- Manager of all HR responsibilities for manufacturing facility with 150+ employees.- Demonstrate skills and experience for effectively interacting with all levels of the organization.- Implement hiring and onboarding process for all exempt and non-exempt positions. - Conduct new hire orientation and safety training for all employees improving safety culture while in compliance with OSHA regulations.- Administrator of 401K, health, dental, disability, and life benefits.- Manage the processing of payroll and personnel actions using an automated system, ensuring appropriate internal controls are maintained.- Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending Company policy and procedures.- Control workers compensation claims by working directly with insurance adjustors.- Ensure work environment supports federal and state laws and regulations (FMLA, ADA, anti-discrimination statutes, FLSA, EEOC, etc.).

- Trained with senior HRM on day to day HR and management responsibilities.- Processed payroll in AS400 system ensuring correct payments, deductions and garnishments in compliance with state and federal law.- Trained payroll and benefits administrator on AS400 system
