A Professional Mechanical Engineer that has been working in the Aviation Industry since graduating from the University of New Brunswick in 2004. Dedicated professional that started his Engineering career designing and analyzing structural repairs and modifications for Fixed Wing Aircraft and has progressed in skills, knowledge and responsibility to being the CH149 Deputy Senior Design Engineer and Engineering Supervisor of the Canadian Search and Rescue Helicopter (CSH). A Design Engineer (DE) Authorized by the Canadian Military (DTAES) to Approve Major Design Changes within the Accredited Design Organization (ATO) under the In Service Support Contract (ISSC) awarded to IMP Aerospace and Defence. Has received Senior Design Engineer (SDE) training from DTAES and is currently providing support to the Canadian Air Force and CP140 Aurora fleet through IMP as the CP140 PAV ATO SDE. As the CP140 Senior Design Engineer and Engineering Manager, day to day activities include;- the daily management and oversight of the Engineering Airworthiness activities.- advising fourteen (14) Design Engineers and Technologists in the production of Technical Engineering Solutions for the CP140 Aurora Aircraft. - Review and Approval of Engineering deliverables from an Engineering and Airworthiness perspective.- Ensuring the Engineering solutions approved are done so within the tightly controlled confines of the aviation airworthiness regulations as defined by the Technical Airworthiness Manual (TAM) and to the Basis of Certification (BoC) for the aircraft. In the pursuit of excellence, one needs to strive to be better today than they were yesterday, retain the lesson learnt and build on these building blocks for tomorrow.
