CurrentSupervise multi trade teams of up to 10 both in the workshop and field environment.Maintain workshop tooling and building infrastructure utilising team members expertise and out sourcing to local contractors.Maintain and order workshop consumables and stock items in order to minimise down time of customers equipment.Liaise with customers to provide better service and meet customers needs whilst still maintain efficiency and profitability to the wider company.Provide conflict resolution and rapport building with both customers and allied services to create a harmonious and highly productive work environment.Establish new workshops and develop systems to manage the ongoing maintenance needs of customers.Brief and debrief tradesman on work required for complex works.Provide training to new employees.Travel both regional and interstate to provide service and repairs (including manufacturing changes) for customers to minimise equipment down time.Develop a strong understanding of the waste industry and both customer organisation and end user requirements.Develop and implement new servicing regime in order to complete servicing for a large stake holder customer and provide more effective servicing to meet the customers requirements.Directly oversee and supervise several maintenance contracts over different sights in order to reduce outstanding repair lists and complete fleet wide modifications.Install, inspect and certify Maxsafe (with and without reverse watch) braking systems on new and existing vehicles.Maintain and repair complex electrical pneumatic and hydraulic systems including camera and onboard CCTV like systems, air operated automated systems, install and upgrade of computer programs for robotic systems within the waste industry.Oversee and assist in the manufacturing of new vehicles.Advise on and quote for repairs and/or modifications to meet clients needs.Problem solve and advise technicians on complex faults, includes interpreting schematics.
