My expertise lies in three key roles within the Exercise and Sport Science and Exercise Physiology programs, each contributing to the enhancement of students' learning experiences and their career readiness.🏋️♂️ Course Coordinator: I coordinate the Cardiopulmonary Exercise course unit for Master of Exercise Physiology students, equipping them with the knowledge and skills they need to excel in this field. Responsibilities include facilitating engaging tutorials and practical labs. I also contribute to the Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science program, providing insights into exercise testing, prescription, and delivery.📚 Student Placement Coordinator: In this role, I've expanded practical opportunities for students, growing active placement hosts from 25 to over 50 across various practice areas aligned with ESSA practicum requirements. I've streamlined placement processes, revamped the student placement catalog, and received positive feedback from hosts. I prepare students for careers with resume workshops and host interviews to boost job readiness.🏥 Coordinator of Student-Led Exercise Physiology Clinic: I coordinate our Student-Led Exercise Physiology Clinic, collaborating with students to develop referral pathways, organize assessments, and promote the clinic. Client numbers have grown by 200%, and I've established standardized outcome measurement procedures to bridge knowledge from the classroom to the clinic. The student-led clinic model of care empowers students to coach each other and apply classroom knowledge to real-world client scenarios, with positive feedback from clients and students.🌟 I'm dedicated to empowering the next generation of exercise professionals, enhancing their skills, and preparing them for rewarding careers in Exercise and Sport Science and Exercise Physiology.
