CT DOT Project #107-141 Construction of a Maintenance Facility @ Waterbury/Oxford Airport ($802,000). Inspection of all facets of facility construction, including enforcement of current building and ADA codes.CT DOT Project #151-298 Reconstruction and Widening of West Main Street, Waterbury Ct. ($3.5 Million). Major widening project in a busy metropolitan area. Construction activities inspected included retaining wall installation, installation of a new drainage system and the complete reconstruction and reconfiguration of roadway, from subgrade to final HMA placement.CT DOT Project #174-308 Highway Signing on I-84 from the NY State Line to Southbury & I-95 Stamford ($4.1 Million). Sign replacement project including the replacement of overhead signs and structures. Construction activities inspected included drilled shaft construction in excess of 20’, placement of structural elements including deformed steel bars and concrete as well as the erection of steel overhead sign supports. Responsible for the oversight of traffic patterns and lane closures on limited accesses highways and the coordination of these closures with CT DOT Highway Operations.CT DOT Project #174-370 Substructure Repair of 10 Bridges in Various Towns, District 4 ($5.25 Million). Repair delaminated/deteriorated substructure concrete. Activities inspected included identification of deteriorated areas of substructure concrete; oversee the installation of deformed steel bars and the placement and testing of concrete.CT DOT Project #162-145 Reconstruction of Holabird Ave. & Bridge #04060 Over Still River ($3.3 Million). Reconfigure abutments and replace bridge span over protected waterway. Construction activities: bridge demolition, reconfiguration of abutment walls, reconstruction of complete bridge structure including bearing replacement, installation of new structural steel and the installation of the bridge deck and parapet walls. Also, the upgrade of the existing drainage system.
