Hello,My name is Matthew Lauer. I am an avid skier and everything outdoors. I love sports music and exploring new places and experiences.My professional journey started before and throughout high school and college, working in the service industry. Being a server and working in food services taught me the value of providing customers the best experience possible as well as instilling a pay for performance mentality. These communication skills and interpersonal communication skills have been the baseline for my career.I originally wanted to be a doctor, However I decided that was not for me. However still having the desire to help others, I decided to major in Health Administration at Duquesne University and graduated in 2022.I wanted to get a job in healthcare originally, however I ended up accepting a job at Tenacity Solutions in a sale and marketing role. I accepted this position as an opportunity to get some sales experience and develop as a professional to further my individual skills. The responsibilities of this role were new customer acquisition and pay was mainly commission based. In this role I further developed my people skills learning to explain complex and lengthy information in a concise and digestible manner, as well as furthering my relationship building skills. I have a proven track record of sales success in this position and was promoted to campaign manager. It was in this position I learned to interview, hire, train and manage a small team, teaching them to see the same success that I was seeing.These skillsets allow me to be able to drive sales, new customer acquisition, current customer relations as well as training and managing. However, I believe that one can never have enough experience and every day is a chance to learn something new and further these skillsets.
