Marble Creek Farmstead was a medium sized regenerative agricultural venture. We raised beef, pork, chicken, duck, turkey, lamb, goat, rabbit, and guinea hens fully on pasture with intensively managed rotational grazing and organic principles. We also built and operated 1 of only 3 USDA abattoirs that processed red meat and poultry. We developed over 330 products selling nationally. We distributed via online sales, in regional grocers, and via VC funded retailers like Crowd Cow and Butcher Box. We also provided butchering servies for 250 regional farmers. I ran the Data Governance team at Shipt. We were responsible for building solutions for data catalog/lineage/stewardship/data knowledge base as well as data quality and anomaly detection. We added Alation and Monte Carlo as tools to support these needs. Our team also developed a detailed mapping of data flows and tribal knowledge to improve usability of Alation.
