Controlling and managing the process of Drinking water from Source to Tap.Working in a control room and investigating inconsistencies on the water network, managing stock control with regards to forward planning and engage in management decisions. Provide situation reports, prepare and calculate and augmentation report to high level of accuracy to best manage the reservoir levels across the South West and Bournemouth Water network.Strategically plan for upcoming events, such as high water usage areas and liaise with area specific teams to manage any situations that may arise.Energy management, utilising when to run certain pumps, at what speed and what flow can delivered. Managing the treatment process remotely in and out of hours at a variety of water treatment sites, noticing any nuances within the process and taking decisive action and escalating when required.

Handling, distributing and prioritising work in a 24 hour control room. Monitoring South West Water assets for any inconsistencies or failures and providing information to field staff. Taking calls directly from Emergency Services and liaising with them in the event of any incidents. Using SCADA to adjust valves for reservoirs and monitoring trends.Operating CCTV, Emergency operational contacts and speaking with other shareholders on a daily basis.
