I am currently employed at Bury Council as a Strategic Lead Integrated Commissioning focusing on Provider Development. My team manage a range of Council contracts within Adult Care and Public Health. I am responsible for provider and market development and take an inclusive and integrated approach to all my work with a passion for real, true coproduction. I lead a number of high value contracts and tender exercises as well as playing a key role in working with partners from the acute and community sectors in managing hospital system flow. I manage a team of officers whose aim is to ensure the people of Bury have access to high quality services that provide both them and the Council value for money. Their role involves contract monitoring, negotiation, review and tendering and I support them to achieve high quality results from this work. Contract monitoring reviews include a focus on quality and are carried out in line with both national and local standards. There is also a focus on building and then maintaining positive provider relations, especially in a sector under regular financial pressure.As Strategic Lead I work across co-located teams and play a key role in a number of both local and sector wide working groups looking at the transformation and future direction of Adult Social Care in Bury and Greater Manchester. I am able to simplify complex problems and think logically about their solution. I am dedicated to ensuring that customers are in receipt of a service that is both of the highest quality and value for money.I am always open to exciting new opportunities.
