Currently working as an Engineering Project Manager for Megger in the UK where I have been lucky enough to support the company with a new way of working and a new NPD process. I am always looking to grow my knowledge with the many amazing professionals we have around the company in all disciplines.Previously I was Engineering Programme Manager (Senior PM), managing a portfolio of projects and critical programmes to support business growth. Helping the business to grow its project culture and work on good project management practice.Qualified Project Manager and Scrum Master with considerable experience in stakeholder management and delivery of key projects. I am now a member of the Association of Project Managers which has allowed me to ensure I stay up to date with best practice in the field of Project management.I continued my project management development at Swegon where I am now over seeing key projects/programmes as well as implementing project management best practice and ensuring continuous improvement in all areas of our project cycle and reporting.I was fortunate enough to work for Instro Precision, working on key MOD projects while managing international relations with Elbit systems in Israel.Although working in the engineering industry I have experience in large scale digital and software project working with Apple and managing a work stream supporting the deliver of Saga’s membership programme “Possibilities”.As a former British Army Senior Non-commissioned Officer, who spent 12 years as a Royal Engineer working on a vast amount of construction projects, I have a good understanding of the transferable skills that a military background can bring to the commercial world.I see honesty, integrity, reliability and discipline as key attributes within my role and see ‘management of expectations’ as a crucial aspect of my job. Since leaving the military I worked with FDM being employed on their advance programme, this provided me with the digital skills and certification to transfer my construction project management skills into digital PM/Scrum skills.
