As Production Manager I had the opportunity to work with some top brands such as Samsung, Qantas, Visa, Nestle and Nokia. On a daily basis, I assisted 3 producers at Salt TV, taking on the usual production management tasks of budgeting, scheduling, crewing, shoot prep, postproduction supervision, final delivery and budget reconciliation. Salt TV have offline and online edit suites in house, so, a lot of the time, I managed the postproduction and delivery processes first hand.My position as Producer at Salt started with a brief to create 12 films which were to be made over the course of a year, for the major mobile network, EE. We shot mainly across the UK but also had the opportunity to work in Europe. These were well received within the telecoms industry in particular. One of the films in the series was awarded a Gold IVCA for Best Film. I also enjoyed regularly producing online content for brands such as Royal Mail, Orange, Novo Nordisk and Value Retail.

As Production Manager, I was integral to the production process of every project; managing the critical path from quoting and pitching stages through to delivery, making sure they were on time and to brief. I oversaw and recruited all studio resources and personnel involved in each project, both freelance and fulltime. At Square Zero, I gained extensive knowledge of new media, animation production and the postproduction process in general.

I worked on a freelance basis for a number of London based production companies and advertising agencies including Mother, Knucklehead, Rokkit and The Ebeling group. I assisted Directors, Creatives and Producers in pre-production and on shoots and also produced micro budget projects of my own.

I assisted on a number of high-end projects including a long format, animated film for US toy store, Macy’s. As this was a US agency based job, it was my responsibility to oversee all aspects of production that were taking place in the UK office and to liaise with both the US production producers and the agency, JWT New York.
