Responsible for the technical leadership at DTI across multiple locations. Merging and unifying product lines and driving technology and IP generation. I was also inventor or co-inventor on a number of key product lines, and drove technical sales on key projects.Directed and oversaw development of world first technologies including:- Annular Safety Valve for Hydrogen Storage.- Highest pressure rated thru tubing high expansion plug.- SPSV safety valves for cable deployed ESP's and Jet Pumps.- IX range of ultra compact retrievable plugs.

Technology Manager for DTI after Pragma acquired DTI.

After creating and leading a dynamic engineering team at Unity, I now provide technical leadership at Unity while also leading the Pragma technical team. I act as a technical lead, conceiving new products and supporting ideas created within Unity and cultivating the company IP.Notable technical achievements:SIS: Inventor of an award winning and unique compact Shallow Intervention System for crown/hanger plug removal/setting, bridge plug setting/removal, milling and inspection.Compact Shear and Seal (CSS): Inventor of the patented ultra-compact, lightweight and simple, shear and seal valve and BOP. CSS technology is the most compact and lightweight design in the industry for its size and power.QV Actuators: Original designer and product line architect of the QV Actuator for OEM agnostic Xmas tree interface. Field-proven modular design for reduced maintenance levels, times and OEM stock requirement's.TA Cap Test Tool (TACTT): Winner of Decom North Seas Award for Innovation. This unique system was originally developed for Spirit to facilitate a controlled method of verifying integrity when depolyed onto the TA cap, before stinging to check and vent off any trapped pressure. Since its first job, it has been run for multiple other clients, and is still the only technology on the market that reduces risk and increases safety for mudline systems.

I started the engineering department at Well-Centric in 2014, before the company rebranded to Unity. We quickly developed a reputation for being a go-to resource for solutions to well-integrity and specialist tooling. While the company has developed from service to technology focused. At Unity myself and the team invented, designed and oversaw development of a mix of equipment from surface and subsea clamps, hydraulic/remotely operated equipment, to specialist well abandonment tooling and proprietary Xmas tree and wellhead equipment, and downhole tools.The team has successfully delivered a wide range of technology in extremely tight deadlines. Notable successes are the QV actuators and xmas tree equipment, further expanding our capabilities as an independent wellhead and xmas tree specialist. I have either designed or directed the design of nearly 200 projects and technologies, mostly all different in nature, quite often in weeks rather than months and years.Reporting to the CEO and present at company board meetings, I built a dynamic team of highly skilled engineers, I personally:-Created and implemented all engineering procedures and documents, including materials/coating specifications and technical library and calculation packages.-Conceived and developed a number of new products.-Created and managed project budgets for external and internal projects.-Created and presented sales proposals to clients.-Supervised and mentored the engineering team members.

A co-founder of Pragma in January 2018. Pragma was created to specialise in advanced production technology, incorporating key IP and technology proven or conceived in existing Frontrow Group companies. Our products and systems are highly differentiated, and aimed at increasing and prolonging production. We are constantly looking for innovative ways to solve industry challenges. I manage the general running of the company, more specifically the design team and direct the design and project execution. This includes industry pioneering additive manufacturing techniques for the first commercial O&G application in our M-Bubble product line, the industries first 650 F rated Safety Valve, and a new safety valve technology designed specifically for artificial lift.

R&D for new design of hydraulic sand screen for a high rate water injection screen including some CFD and FEA modelling.

Support and Development to commercialisation of i-ball multi-stage, mono bore frac tool development. including IP portfolio expansion. Concept development of multi-zone FracPack completion tool for high rate water injection.

Design - Developed and tested 2nd generation i-Ball Frac Sleeve Product Line tools. Conducted product operational and validation tests in the UK and Texas. Named as an inventor on over 13 separate patent applications relating to multi-stage indexing sleeves. Took on role as company Work Experience Ambassador.Salvage - Organisation of company salvage process, solving manufacture problems and implementing necessary mechanical and material engineering justification. Performing design amendments/calculation audits. Developed and implemented new procedures.

Responsible for organisation and delivery of high value orders ensuring a high level of quality being produced from the factory, on time and in demanding and continuously changing circumstances. Performed Analogue and digital instrument circuit analysis, repair, production and configuration on scientific seismic instruments. Quickly became highly proficient and tasked specifically with the more complex prototype products.

Organising and planning the excursions for the entire school twice a week, responsible for up to 20 staff and 200 students at any one time.
