I am currently the lead product engineer for the single cylinder, small vertical shaft engine product line at Briggs and Stratton. I lead a 9 person team that consists of engineers, designers, and technicians. The team is responsible for production support engineering for the product line which has products manufactured in both a domestic and international plant. My team's production support engineering responsibilities consists of supply chain, warranty reduction, new product development, and compliance projects. I have extensive leadership experience from managing my team of engineers, designers and technicians to complete various new product development, supply chain, warranty reduction and compliance projects. I am responsible for ensuring the team meets the technical and market specifications determined at the beginning of a project and is completed on time.My mechanical engineering experience comes from the engineering positions I have held at Briggs and Stratton and Milwaukee Tool. In my roles at Briggs and Stratton, I have worked on various single cylinder engines with projects consisting of NPD, supply chain, warranty reduction, and compliance projects. In my role at Milwaukee Tool, I was a Senior Design Engineer for the production support engineering team for the lithium ion battery product line.
