Senior Project Manager for Prime Brokerage and Equity Trading, covering Client Segregation, Trade Platform building initiative, and Accounting process change projects. To build out and streamline strategic capabilities of servicing the clients quicker and more efficient, and continue as an incentive that can be marketed to new clients for the Strategic platform.

In this role, I serve as a regulatory and risk project manager on multiple projects including: DB CIB Global Transaction Banking Regulatory and Risk Projects, review of key International/Domestic Bank and Securities Federal Regulations. I hold multiple responsibilities including presenting in meetings while keeping them on schedule and advising on issues as needed, administering the SharePoint site/dashboards and leading, coaching and training CIB Global Transaction Banking teams through the review of regulatory obligations, determination of applicability, assessment of inherent risk, controls and residual risk.

As Head of U.S. Securities Operations, I drove people processes amongst my team including including recruiting, hiring, mentoring, training, motivating, managing and promoting onshore and offshore staff to perform all onboarding functions of trade processing (fixed income, equities, MBS, and derivatives products), claims and reporting. I also spearheaded and presented the implementation of a new trading system as project manager and partnered with team to implement BlackRock Aladdin trade processing and reporting system and decommissioning previous trading system. Amongst other duties, I drove timely deliverables in project-management of regulatory changes and reporting P&L while presenting results.

As a Fixed Income Manager for Trade Operations, I led a focused team of 3 managers and 15 staff in coordinating and overseeing cash management, funds transfer, trade allocation, confirmation, settlement, margin and buy-in of fixed income and derivative products. I served as a BCP Coordinator for Prudential Fixed income organization, along with leading client on-boarding, Aladdin updates to system, working with Blackrock on new systems implementation, driving communications, change management and automation of workflow improvements. Developed a training curriculum with 3rd party vendors and presented industry learning sessions for the all operations staff while supporting HR efforts, including staff appraisals and management endeavors.

As a Manager for Securities Lending Trade Support, I executed as project manager for a re-engineered operating platform, account mergers and automated controls. I was responsible for leading a team of 6 in directing all recalls, settlements, margins and buy-ins of equity and fixed income loan transactions. Amongst other duties, I coordinated key escalations with the trading desk and lending clients.

At UBS, as an Associate Director for Controls, Clearance and Settlement I led, developed, and motivated a team of 25 virtual and on-site staff in facilitating results-generating clearance, settlement and buy-ins of equity OTC, Options, and derivative transactions, including trades, ACATs, and Physicals to meet or exceed objectives and maximized bottom-line performance. I also delivered reporting of overtime exposure statistics for complex budget issues while settling and balancing daily cash trade activities. Additionally, I led front-to-back end process integration and risk management efforts and served as the group’s point-of-contact for the company’s workforce consolidation and among other duties, I directed an off-shoring project to save money while maintaining services excellence.
