Key role within NAFTA Research and Development Outdoor Testing department. Functional objective is R&D support to NAFTA OE and aftermarket projects for Domestic and Foreign customer/supplier base. Primary testing activity support for prototype and released product builds in two major PTNA plants in USA and Mexico, and auxiliary support for worldwide tire development projects.• Performance of on vehicle subjective and objective evaluations (Car, Light Truck and SUV) in variety of testing conditions and environments• Attendance and support of joint test activity with OEM customers • Ensure integrity of the test results and the quality of test activities • Ensure all required outdoor tests activities are performed properly with on-time deliverables• Manages preparation and planning of weekly activities for outdoor test department Coordination of test activity in all aspects – track/proving ground selection, test vehicle acquisition, support personnel/equipment allocation and logistics • Development and implementation of new test methodologies, procedures, and work instructions • Responsible for maintaining technical communication with suppliers and OEM customers • Manages purchasing of supplies for maintenance and improvement of test standards
