Current- Recent cases have included:
- AQA Education v Persons Unknown & ors: A claim brought by a public examination provider against specific persons unknown and ‘newcomers’, seeking injunctions to restrain those persons from attempting to obtain advance.
- Instructed in a US$55 million London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) arbitration concerning allegations of fraudulent breach of warranty in a share purchase agreement (led by Lawrence Akka KC).
- CMOC v Persons Unknown & ors: A claim to trace and recover US$8 million that was stolen in a cyber fraud (led by Paul Lowenstein QC). This case is notable as being the first-known occasion that a worldwide freezing.
- BIC-BRED v Alaghband & ors: A US$3.7 million claim against the officers of the bank's former customer, alleging participation in the apparent fraud perpetrated by the customer. Some of the officers are also charged.
- CH Offshore v Internaves Consorcio Naviero & ors: An appeal from an arbitration award, wherein the claimants were awarded their US$10 million claim for commission and consultancy fees in respect of certain long-term.
