During the Spring 2019, Spring 2020, Fall 2020, and Spring 2021 semesters, I worked as an undergraduate teaching fellow and grader for freshman and sophomore-level physics courses and aerospace engineering classes on dynamics and structures. In these positions, I held weekly office hours to help students work through questions on homework assignments, attended classes’ weekly discussion sessions to answer questions regarding in-class work, and collaborated with graduate and undergraduate teaching assistants and graders to grade these assignments in a timely and fair manner. Additionally, I promptly responded to questions about course content and grades via email outside of these time slots. When the University of Maryland transitioned to online learning in late March 2020, I learned to adapt my office hours to a virtual environment via Zoom. Show less
