Working at several different hospitals with many different surgeons helps to always learn and adapt to new routines and environments. I’ve gained experience working with Terumo Heart-Lung machines, Medtronic and Terumo circuits, Medtronic and Haemonetics cell savers, as well as other ancillary equipment. I have furthered my experience pumping a variety of cases including: CABG’s, valves, aortic dissections, LVAD placement, and heart transplants. I have also been standby on OPCAB’s, done warm beating CABG’s, and done electronic fibrillation CABG’s.

Expounded my knowledge and experience of Perfusion services. I was able to continue work with the Sorin S5 (centrifugal pump), LivaNova disposables, Sorin Xtra cell saver, and ECMO. I was able to participate in various case types including: CABG, valve, adult congenital, and aortic repair with circulatory arrest.

Gained experience working with Sorin S5 Heart-Lung machine (centrifugal pump), CATS Cell Salvaging, Valves, CABG’s, and Aortic cases.

Furthered my experience working with the Quantum Heart-Lung machine (roller pump), CATS Cell Salvaging, Terumo disposables, congenital heart defects.

Gained experience working with Quantum heart-lung machine and Sorin Xtra Cell Saver. Assisted during CABG, valves, aortic cases, Heartmate 3 VAD, heart transplants, VA/VV ECMO, endoballoon, and OrganOx.
