The man that I’ve become has recently taken shape in the last few years of my life, after graduating from The Walker School as well as finishing up my bachelor’s degree at Kennesaw State University. I owe a lot to my mentors whom I have worked with the past 5 years as a community coach at The Walker school. While working with them I learned what it takes to uphold and maintain the values that have carried the soccer program and its success at the school for the last few decades, something that can be translated into working into a business. Through these experiences, I’ve made new colleagues and eventually created a new adult soccer league based in Cobb and Cherokee county. The experience gained from this has taught me what it takes to run and maintain an organization outside the realm of coaching as well as learn what it takes to be responsible with finances. These two great experiences for me were not enough for me to learn who I was as a person. During my last semester and final course of my college career, I partook in a Senior Internship outside of the United States, in Germany. I learned a lot about myself, and the type of worker I am. While working in Germany I learned the best way to carry out healthy business relationships with clients even though there was a language barrier. I would love to share the knowledge I updated with my internship in Germany with people and businesses alike.
