KEY RESPONSIBILITIES• InnovationPacking technical leader for the “Coordination for Design for SC” delivering strategic multi million Euro global Personal Care Innovation projects including:- Lead Early Product Technology Management (EPM) with global innovation project teams- Lead Early Equipment Technology Management (EEM) with T & E Deploy teams in our strategic manufacturing sites• Core Design Technical support for the specification and preparation of PC Core Design documents (Packing) to the agreed Levels of Documentation & Definitions working in partnership with T & E Core Design Manager, T & E Deploy Teams, UEnS, R & D, Procurement and Global Virtual Sites.• Technology and CapabilityTechnical Lead for new packing technology and capability development to provide a step change in our Supply Chain to achieve enhanced operating flexibility increased manufacturing capacity, improved efficiencies and enabling zero losses in quality.• Category Technology Strategies Technical support for category Packing Technology Strategy development and execution, contributing to Technology Programs, and lead specific projects prioritized within the category technology strategy and aligned to the T & E Transformation work programs• Advanced Manufacturing- Design TeamSupport and lead new program capital equipment Pilot model within Unilever Categories, Evaluate and improve manufacturing methods for maximum efficiency performance and cost using additive technology. Generative design and topology methods to enable speed to market.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES• Lead qualifications of packaging components and assembly cells to support EU Business and Supply Chain strategy including the definition of technical specifications• Key point of contact for crisis management for serious technical quality and supply issues related to rigid plastics by using investigative root cause analysis techniques• Provision of technical input and support for innovation projects to ensure that packaging is compatible with EU supply chain, formulation and customer packaging regulatory and legislation guidelines• Delivery of dimensional data and technical testing of components for EU supply• Pillar leader for 2020 R&D Strategy for Central Repository (R&D and SU capability database)• Lead EU Packaging Technologist for Innovation projects as part of Global Core Project Team providing technical input for EU launch • Management of lab testing resource covering all EU Innovation, Blue Funnel and security of supply qualifications

• Represent SU at key project meetings, EPM and EEM workshops providing technical input on machine capabilities and requirements ensuring Design for Manufacture principles are adhered to• Instrumental in capability studies and workshops for all innovations on time in full • Lead and support factory capability trials and coordination of technical specifications • Support SU line teams at first productions through snag rectification, changeover training and innovation education through key documentation including resolution of packaging interaction issues• Lead resolution of machine/material interaction, quality and capability issues through WCM methodology root cause analysis including leading and implementing FIs• Management of project budgets and ordering components through CAPEX system• Successful liaison with equipment suppliers to deliver cost effective best fit innovation solutions
