Building on a 26-year landscape architecture career, Matthew co-founded Open Air Studios in 2014. A Registered Landscape Architect, Matthew oversees client relationships, design development, and project implementation. Matthew’s well-rounded knowledge of landscape architecture was built over two decades leading design projects in both the private and public sectors, in Texas and across the United States. A San Antonio native, Matthew’s professional roots in Texas run deep. He has served as programs director for the Council of Educational Facility Planners International and has participated in the Urban Land Institute Membership Committee, Society of Marketing Professionals Community Relations Committee, and Bulverde United Methodist Finance Committee.Prior to launching Open Air Studios, Matthew was a managing principal for a landscape architecture firm he established in San Antonio in 2006. Matthew earned his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from Texas Tech University in 1998.
