I have a passion for fresh, flavorful, colorful food, great coffee, exceptional customer service and living an active, healthy lifestyle. I strive to share these passions with customers, clients, friends and community.My journey with food started very early in a food centered home at the age of 7. My father had a huge love for food, cooking, entertaining and I had a very active role in that life. My grandmother also had that love of food and I remember standing on a chair in her kitchen helping pour ingredients in to the kitchen aid mixer. As I said my dad and mom had a love for food and had friends over frequently for dinner parties—back when Graham Kerr was out there with Galloping Gourmet. As a result I was in the kitchen doing prep, finishing sauces, and other various tasks. In my house growing up dad did the menu planning and shopping and I was along for the ride most of the time. This led to our first restaurant at the age of 15. I then went to culinary school after high school and in 1987 graduated from the Culinary Institute of America.I have spent all of my professional life in the food/ restaurant business( over 35 years) and now find myself in the truly rewarding position of managing the new coffee shop at my church. We are just getting started and look forward to bringing quality coffee, exceptional customer experience, and some great bakery and food items to our community.
