I am tasked with the production of all design materials for our clients and internal projects. I collaborate with and direct freelance designers when contracted, which can lead to less hands on work and more project management. I will also work along side the team to help with copy edits and messaging for mail pieces, social media posts, and advertisements. My responsibilities include the production of digital ads, social media posts, website design, brand development, mail pieces, print collateral, infographic design, and more. I work with a range of different clients, but I most consistently I work with political clients.

I have worked freelance for media and design agencies, apps, small businesses, and large corporate clients. With long and short term contract experience, I have had the ability to handle projects both big and small while treating each client with extreme care. A selection of my client list includes The Atlantic, Fidelity, Life is Good, Nobody Co., Palladian Partners, Resy, and more.

As a freelance production designer, I would work together with the senior production designers to prepare all mechanicals for print production. I would help update production information, finalize ink colors, log changes, and produce materials for catalogs and the website/digital teams.As a long term project, I assisted the production team with the development and implementation of process changes to become more efficient with file production and maintenance. In doing so, we were able to create a more balanced and inclusive process which was able to reduce wasted time.

As part of a small marketing team in the live events division, we balance over 130 events a year. This position fine tune my ability to balance projects and deadlines no matter the number of projects or the size of our events.My responsibilities include creating an event identity, directional signage, printed collateral, stage design, digital images for the website and social media, presentations, fitting our apps with the appropriate design items, and creating print advertisements for the magazine.

At Nobody I spent my time working on physical and digital media. It was my job to create presentations, update or redesign established design files, and produce original work for clients. I had the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients and experience receiving direct client feedback, working with cooperative client teams, and how to match my designs to established design guidelines. This position awarded me the opportunity to work with a small team, and create work in a design friendly environment.

This position required me to fill multiple roles including physical labor, customer service, retail work and store manager. I averaged 20 hours+ while attending school full time and worked full-time from May to September. I acquired organization, leadership and communication skills while working here.
