Matthew Murnan is an Oklahoma-born cinematographer and photographer. Matt graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2009 in Fine Arts: Media. At the beginning of his career, he did mostly event, landscape/travel, and portrait photography. After moving to Northern California in 2012, he joined a short film set and realized that the moving picture was for him. Although he still loves photography, composition and shaping light in filmmaking is now his main career. He moved to Los Angeles in 2016 to pursue his career in Cinematography, working on commercials, non-profit, and narrative productions, and back to Oklahoma in mid-2021 as more film and series' productions began moving to the state. Matt is also skilled in film and photo editing. He has worked on camera for feature and short films, as well as live events, commercial, music videos, product and corporate videos.
