I started my first full time job when i had completed my A -Levels (I studied A-level Maths and Double Business). My first Full time Job was HR Apprentice For Plexus Law. Here i really started to build up my confidence talking with a wide range of different people, from new starters to the CEO of the business. My Job included sending out new starter information getting appointments and meetings set, taking important information and documents to be added to the system and getting the new starters settled in and supporting Inductions. I released i absolutely loved talking with new and current members off staff and building rapport but i was also a very money motivated individual and wanted to use my skills elsewhere. I ended up getting my first Sales Job at Garolla selling Electric roller shutter doors. My Job consisted of working the Inbound line and putting leads onto the system and calling them. This also meant i dealt with customer Queries and complaints patiently and in a professional manner to keep the customer satisfied. This is where i first learnt how to deal with my pipeline, unknown to me at that time point that pipeline management is such a core skill to have in the sales industry and luckily for me i picked it up very quick which meant i could make good us of my time and boosting the amount of money that i made. I had to maintain follow up calls to maximize sales opportunities and also communicate clearly via telephone and email. At Garolla i was always going the extra mile to meet sales targets (Working overtime and going the extra mile for customers) This meant customer satisfaction was met. I Then got the opportunity to go work for Sky business and i took this as i wanted to better my sales skills in a slightly different industry doing a different aspect of Sales. At my time at Sky i started working Inbound/ Outbound but then there was structural change where i was put onto the led generating team and then onto outbound. I loved this challenge as i loved speaking with new people building rapport and i was also excited about the product i was selling them (Business broadband and phone packages). There is plenty of exciting incentives, awards, recognition that drove me even further to been a successful salesman. I was awarded with a certificate in Q3 (2023) and voted top sales agent. I also was voted the People champion (this was voted by me peers). At Sky i have also assisted with Team leading and conducting morning huddles, i also did side by side coaching. I received training when at sky that has massively helped me in my sales career.
