Charged with employing project management best practices to turn around an outdated and underperforming manufacturing facility. Use Lean and 5S for facility clean up, initiate KPI system, measure Predictive/Preventive maintenance, develop maintenance and engineering personnel.

Began as a manufacturing engineer and was quickly promoted to assume additional responsibility as a project management leader while the business was expanding. Played a key role in helping launch a new products that exceeded all performance targets in a short time.

Led a cross a cross-functional team using Six Sigma design in the production of key mechanical projects that resulted in optimized and updated operations for the organization.

Led and participated in over 100 compressed air energy audits that identified over $1M in cumulative energy savings. This contributed to the expansion of the business into new territory in three states. Achieved lean manufacturing certification through progressive energy saving projects.

Designed and implemented institutional health and safety program for a community college. This included departmental safety audits for local, state and federal safety compliance. Also provided root cause analysis and accident reviews in collaboration with department heads.
