I’ve always enjoyed a good logic puzzle. I think the thrill of utilizing all the given clues as pieces of a puzzle to create a solution naturally steered me towards the field of industrial engineering. A good IE uses logic and reasoning to ensure an integrated system is optimally efficient.I’ve spent time working in a distribution warehouse setting solving company specific supply chain efficiency problems. I’ve also been a project manager for a leading exhibition and experiential marketing company, overseeing the development and creation of exhibits from the design phase all the way to installation with project budgets exceeding $1 million. I’m currently in a consultative role, creating solutions for our warehouse clients in the food processing, distribution, manufacturing, and pharmaceutical industries. Projects can be as wide ranging as warehouse safety enhancement, workflow and layout improvement, or optimizing a forklift fleet.I’m also passionate about sports which now includes coaching my sons’ youth teams. Everyone has a unique skill set that can help the entire team. Putting each person in the best position to succeed and optimize the performance of the team as a whole is one of my favorite puzzles to solve.
