I am currently a student at Indiana University and I am majoring in Tourism, Hospitality, and Event Management, but have also taken a large amount of coursework in the field of Telecommunications. I am currently employed at both JW Marriott Indianapolis and at Cheddars Casual Café. I have a variety of interests including event planning, coordinating, leadership, assisting others, giving back to the community, mission work, sports, and adventurous activities.Since high school I have grown in my interests and my involvement in my community. During high school I was a part of The National Honors Society, the cross-country team, the track & field team, rec sports, and choir. These activities taught me about dedication, determination, how to both set and accomplish goals, how to interact and communicate with others well, along with many other helpful skills.I am currently involved in Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship at Indiana University and am the President of Oasis for Orphans at IU (organization devoted to helping to save and care for orphans in Kenya). These organizations along with the community that I have developed through both at college, have helped push my passion for those in need around the world and in my local community. I have developed a new found love for those around my world through my exploration of the gospel, and I plan to share that in any future endeavor.
