Provide leadership and support to the College Credit Plus (CCP) department, a state-wide, dual enrollment program that allows high school students to take college-level courses at no cost to the students. Sinclair’s program currently serves more than 8,000 students annually and has grown by more than 25% since August 2018.Supervise and develop five full-time professionals who manage a geographical territory of high school partners. Provide leadership and guidance to the team as they provide front-line service to students and their families, as well as teachers and administrators at partner high schools. Coordinate annual schedule of 80-100 information sessions offered in conjunction with partner high schools. Chair a subcommittee tasked with planning and executing the department’s yearly events; events include, but not limited to: on-campus and virtual orientations, on-campus and virtual information sessions, application events, testing events, and graduation celebrations. Collaborate with academic deans and department chairs to develop academic pathways that allow high school students to complete post-secondary credentials prior to high school graduation. Created processes to case-manage students within various academic pathways. Created and monitored reports and processes to comply with state regulations surrounding eligible students, eligible courses, and eligible credit hours. Monitor the CCP completion scholarship, a $3000 scholarship offered to all CCP students who accumulate 30 or more credit hours with a 3.0 GPA prior to high school graduation. In the spring of 2021, the scholarship has its most applicants since it was implemented.Constructed new datasets from state and institutional databases that provided greater insight into new recruitment opportunities. Implemented new and emerging technologies for high school presentations and graduation ceremonies.

Directed all academic, administrative, and financial aspects of the Champion City Scholars Program, which selects 40 high-risk students from the Springfield City School District during their 8th grade year to receive up to three years of free tuition and books at Clark State Community College upon high school graduation.Implemented and designed college readiness activities for Champion City Scholars during their high school career. Activities included but not limited to: college application presentations, FAFSA workshops, and college visits.Managed an operating budget of over $100,000 dollars per academic year and coordinated with the Clark State Foundation to manage program-specific endowments.Identified, applied for, and secured relevant grants to support the program’s operational costs.Updated and created policies that governed program eligibility requirements and scholarship dollar eligibility. Created presentations with program data to solicit new donors to the scholarship fund. Solicited and trained volunteer mentors who work with Champion City Scholars for their duration in the program. Supervised a part-time high school coordinator and multiple work-study students.
