Enthusiastic and collaborative lab manager, I'm interested in biobanking, clinical research, development of diagnostic tests and data that improves human health. My goal is to bridge generous families and patients giving biological material to doctors and scientists who need samples to research diseases, tests and treatments. My areas of focus are protection of patient rights, sample and data integrity, regulatory compliance, fiscal responsibility and helping stakeholders achieve goals. I use my lab experience in developmental neuroscience and stem cell biology to plan and drive new clinical research projects.Experience: biobanking, protocol development, consenting, CAP regulations, clinical sample procurement, large data set management and analysis, cell culture, RNAseq, DNA/RNA isolation, RT-PCR, qPCR, molecular biology, liquid handling automation & high throughput screening, FACS, Western, immunofluorescence, dissection, virus design, transgenic mouse derivation, animal models of neurodegeneration, RNAi, CRISPR KO.

Supervisor, Lab-BiorepositoryPhoenix Children'S Hospital Oct 2019 - Jul 2022Phoenix, Arizona, UsThe Phoenix Children's biorepository is the interface between clinical care and research. We help patients and families give biological material which we keep private and confidential. We store, catalog and process samples that go to doctors and scientists studying how children get hurt and sick and looking for new treatments. -
