Seal's continuous growth required more warehouse attention. In 2021 I assisted Seal by focusing more on inventory and tracking. Setting up our new warehouse space, new inventory software, and scalable warehouse processes. Since 2020, our warehouse space has more than doubled and the number of crews we supply have increased as well.

During the pandemic, I assisted Seal by welcoming and following our customers through their installation process, addressing any questions or concerns that may come up. I also kept up with the warehouse inventory and organization, ensuring the install crews have everything they need before they head out to their jobs, and assisting the project manager with utility analyses and design work.

The best way to learn, at least for me, is to do! I spent several months working with the install crews; 'turnin wrenches', learning techniques, visualizing how each of the components work with and fit into the rest, and enjoying the fresh air and sunshine!

While working as a consultant for SEAL, I completed hundreds of residential energy assessments; determining what in the home could be improved to increase comfort and decrease energy use, qualifying improvements that could be covered by utility energy programs, determining whether the HVAC equipment needed servicing or replacement and whether the home was a good candidate for solar installation. As well, I worked in the Solar department, coordinating projects with the electric utility provider by completing and filing the required net metering paperwork, performing site analysis for scheduled projects, designing and selling residential solar projects, and setting up and explaining monitoring applications for completed solar projects. I also did a number of odd jobs, in the office and in the field, to help SEAL work a little smoother and keep our customers happy.

At KMT, we worked through utility programs to bring no cost energy efficiency measures to our customers. As regional manager of the Northwest Arkansas division, I was responsible for finding customers, scheduling work, performing home energy assessments, completing retrofit work, filing paperwork, maintaining equipment and vehicles, and hiring/training employees.

Assisted with over a dozen Industrial Energy Assessments on small to medium sized commercial locations. Responsibilities included utility bill analysis, suggesting energy saving projects, data gathering, and writing technical reports.

While attending Crowder College, I helped the MARET Center with anything that was needed. From cleaning and organizing work/shop spaces, helping to build the prototype to the new MARET building, volunteer organizer for solar competitions, to representing the school at events and conventions.
