Quest Administradora General de Fondos is a Chilean Investment Fund Administrator (AGF) that manages public investment funds that are fully regulated in Chile. My mission has been to create and manage the international bond funds, which will provide Chilean investors with a tax efficient and low cost structure to invest abroad. The first fund, Renta Global, was launched in January of 2016, and invests in a global portfolio of fixed income securities denominated in US dollars. A second fund, Renta Global Hedge, purchases no cost shares of the first fund, and then hedges the US Dollar exposure into Chilean Pesos. During the first 6 years Renta Global has returned 65% in dollars, significantly outperforming almost all global bonds funds, while growing assets under management from 4 to 75 million dollars. As of May 2017, the fund administrator CHG is now part of Quest Capital, an investment firm dedicated to asset management, wealth advisory, and corporate finance for small and medium-sized companies.

Vision Global Investments (formally known as Vision Advisors) provides advisory and intermediation for Global Investments for local institutions and high net worth individuals. For a decade I explored the far corners of the globe in the search of attractive opportunities for both fixed income and equity investments. We worked directly with leading investment banks and asset managers in both developed and emerging markets, which included the United States, London, Rusia, Kazakhstan, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Peru, Colombia, India, Hong Kong, Singapore, Vietnam, and Sub Saharan Africa.

Before and after completing the 1 year MBA Program and Babson College, worked on trading desks for Wachovia Securities, which was later acquired by Wells Fargo during the Global Financial Crisis. At the height of the technology and telecom bubble, in January of 2000, I executed stock, option, and mutual fund trades for discount brokerage clients until April of 2001 when retail trading volumes had fallen significantly.Almost finishing the MBA, in June 2002, started working as part of a six man team that traded approximately $15 million dollars of mortgage backed securities per day. During this time, the Federal Reserve was lowering interest rates, and about $5 trillion of outstanding mortgage debt was being refinanced at lower rates, marking the beginning of the housing boom. Left Wachovia Securities in January of 2003 to move to South America.
