The One Trafford Partnership delivers commercial and domestic waste collections, street cleaning, grounds maintenance, highways services, bridges, road safety, street lighting and furniture, drainage and property services on behalf of our client, Trafford Council. Total Contract Value - £258m.• Project lead on the remodel of the Grounds Maintenance Service, including new structure, work patterns, fleet and plant. Aligned the new structure’s fleet and plant to deliver a saving and hit contract CTC.• Project Managed the 2017 Performance Plan to deliver considerable savings in excess of £1.9m through 35 individual PIPs. This project is ongoing.• Introduced innovative methods of working through the introduction of new fleet. This delivered further efficiencies of c£90k pa by removing the reliance on sub-contractors and diverting the work to direct labour. • Developing a new scheme with the client to be rolled out operationally by Amey – A Garden Waste Subscription Service which will deliver £430k revenue saving in year one on a £800k budget.

Commercial Manager, Yorkshire Water. The Yorkshire Water Contract delivers maintenance and repair work for the whole of the Waste Water network, covering 11,903 km2, 2.4 million households, 52,000km of sewers, 1912 sewerage pumping stations, 1915 combined sewer overflows and 645 sewerage treatment works. Total Contract Value - £125m.• Responsibility for weekly P&L reporting and analysis, created the P&L Dashboard to drive efficiencies & value through local weekly actions.• Supply chain management; setting up of new subcontractors, creating framework agreements and raising works orders.• Management of subcontractors; analysing, assessing and full payment responsibility.• Lead on the commercial analysis, providing reports for both the finance and operational teams as well as owning and distributing the weekly profit and loss statements and other monthly commercial processes.• Implemented a Resource Tracker, recording daily resource numbers split between DLO and Sub-contractors/SLPs to assess high level cost of additional resource.• Implemented a Materials Tracker to gain full exposure of plant and materials used on the contract, adhering to KPM’s and mitigating against Liquidated Damages.

Operations Manager, Hampshire Highways. Highways Maintenance contract for Hampshire County Council. Amey undertakes planned, reactive and emergency maintenance on 9,000km of roads in Hampshire. Total Contract Value - £400m.• Improved the KPIs of C1X and C1A jobs by c30% by review of data and streamlining of processes. • Created new frame work for the 24 hour emergency priority, presenting to the Business Director and senior Hampshire client staff to be incorporated into the new contract.• Successfully implemented the Dynamic Scheduler into every depot across the account, which increased the volume of job completions by c20% which increased depot performance value by c10%.• Created the Hampshire Highways Dashboard. This encompassed visual data of the operational performance of the contract, containing information of the volume and value of jobs, as well as the KPIs and SOM KPIs.
