Statewide Legal Services is the intake hotline for all the legal services programs in CT. We serve individuals living in poverty with civil legal matters. I was a staff attorney in our family and consumer units. - Provided immediate advice and information to callers to intake hotline which serves entire state. - Provided referrals to local legal services programs or private volunteer attorneys when appropriate. - Taught clients how to represent themselves in court. - Represented clients in court. - Prepared written materials for distribution to clients and social service agencies. - Reviewed work done by other staff on a daily basis for accuracy of legal advice given.

Provided representation to parties in Juvenile Court; provided representation to minor children (as Guardian Ad Litem) in Family and Juvenile Court.
