I currently do freelance personal training and sports massage therapy in the local area of Saltash and Plymouth. I have been able to work with a range of clients from fitness models, personal trainers, power lifts, rugby player and also the general public.I cater to all areas of the clients specific problems in a positive friendly manner.

I worked as a lifeguard to supervise the pool and respond in the event of an emergency, To maintain an adequate level of pool fitness, including attending staff training on a regular basis and following the staff training policy, To be knowledgeable in all evacuation procedures, To ensure good standards of behaviour by pool users and enforcing pool rules and taking appropriate action when required, Also treating all pool users equally and assist in any addition requirements they may have and patrol all areas of the centre to ensure cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

I have recently been working for Saltash Leisure Centre, where I have 2 more months until I have completed an NVQ 3 in Leisure Management. I have also worked for Chubbs security; from this I learnt how to interact better with people and how to diffuse situations. I have been in training as a potential Royal Marine Commando and I spent 14 weeks at the Commando Training Centre in Lympstone, Devon. Prior to this I had worked for Tone Leisure as a full-time Leisure Attendant since leaving school in July 2002. I worked at various locations including Station Road Swimming Pool, St James’ Swimming Pool, Blackbrook Pavilion, Wellsprings Sports Centre, Wellington Sports Centre, Castle Sports Centre and Taunton on ice. I am able to form friendly, professional relationships with clients as well as co-workers.I motivate clients to achieve their goals, give good demonstrations as well as clear instruction.I enjoy working as part of a team, with a strong customer focus and I am responsible, hardworking and enthusiastic.I have the passion to gain more knowledge and experience to continually progress as an employee and a person.

At china fleet I have many roles, My main role is a team leader where I cover gym/reception on their breaks, maintain the chlorine and PH level, check to see jobs have been completed and to step up as DLM if the DLM is in a meeting.I also work in the gym as cover where I help to motivate clients in their goals, make up programmes that are SMART (Specific-Measurable-Achievable and Agreed-Realistic-Time bound).Also I work in the security team where I give support to the DLM or bar staff when need, Also I check and lock down the whole site.

At Pertemps I work at Mountwise and Tinside as a lifeguard where my job is maintain the health and safety of bathers and housekeeping.Also I have had the chance to work on the European firework championship display as a steward.

My responsibilities included lifeguarding the pool, maintaining a clean environment, customer care and handling customer complaints, reception duties including use of till and handling cash, and restocking vending machines. I worked as a Duty Manager at St James Swimming Pool, maintaining the plant room and also being responsible for securing the building at the end of the day.

When I was employed by Tone Leisure they hosted a 3 month event called ‘Taunton On Ice’; where I was given the opportunity to work full time at the ice rink. The job was to help provide a professional, friendly and enjoyable visit to customers in the new festive ice rink whilst ensuring compliance to company policies, ‘best practice’, and current legislation; I also helped to maintain the ice rink and gave out ice skates.
