During my time at LifeScan labs I was apart of the COVID-19 team. My main responsibility was to administer and provide Covid-19 nasal tests to residents and staff at post acute rehabilitation homes. This gave me experience providing care to patients in a long-term and memory care setting. I was one of the first on the team to assist with rolling out a mobile application to streamline test results to patients and staff. My supervisor requested my advise and feedback on how to improve the application before it was fully rolled out to the rest of the team.

During my last semester as a North Park student I worked part time as a Shield COVID-19 PCR test administrator. I would direct on average 120 students weekly and manage their tests confirming they provided enough sample was provided for an accurate test. Much of my time in this position was spend explaining how to perform a PCR saliva test and registering students and faculty into the Shield program so they can receive their results in a timely manner.
