I am a web designer, developer, and programmer with two years of experience, and graduate of the IT Web Development program at Nova Scotia Community College.I have experience in many different technologies, languages, and frameworks that are commonly used in today's web development industry. I have gained two and a half years of experience working extensively with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery to create and maintain functioning front-end web applications. I also have extensive experience with back-end languages such as PHP and Python, and have worked with their respective Laravel and Django MVC frameworks, as well as React.js. Using Laravel, React, and Django, I have created CRUD inventory system applications, and have created a mock online store with Laravel.I also have two years of experience in object-oriented programming, working with languages such as Java, C#, Visual Basic, PHP, and Python. I have also created various GUI applications using C#, Visual Basic, Java, and Python.Additionally, I have experience in creating websites with content management systems, such as WordPress, and have worked with many different themes and plugins on the platform. Most notably, I have worked with SEO management plugins such as Yoast to ensure that all site pages are well equipped to work with Google’s search system. Using WordPress, I developed applications such as blogs, portfolios, and WooCommerce online stores.I also have two years of experience in web design, developing sitemaps, wireframes, and working with applications such as Adobe Photoshop to create site mockups for web applications that follow good UI/UX standards.
