Provides strategic policy, planning, and oversight of the National Industrial Security Program in order to synchronize critical functions of personnel, physical, and technology security for industrial partners working in the most sensitive programs to ensure the protection of American competitive advantages and technological superiority for current and future defense industrial base needs.

Deputy Director for Individual Assistance (IA) programs that provide critical disaster survivor assistance to the citizens of the United States. Oversees operational planning and execution of pre-disaster preparedness and training of recovery workforce and works with State, Local, Territorial and Tribal jurisdictions to implement IA emergency recovery programs after disasters strike. Oversees disaster sheltering, temporary housing, feeding, mass care, legal services, and disaster case management for qualified survivors.

Oversees integration of national level strategy, policy, and programs to link federal, state, and local response across a dynamic "all hazard" environment. Provides leadership and vision to guide and implement needed changes for national level doctrine supporting emergency management practices and support standards in training and response across the entire national level emergency management enterprise.

Leads curriculum development and research design projects as part of the Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy in order to prepare select military officers and civilians for strategic leadership and success in developing national security strategy linked to evaluating, marshaling, and managing resources. Provides classroom instruction and lesson execution in topics related to Strategic Leadership, National Security Strategy, Resource Management and military supply chain management. Additionally, serves as the Army Service Chairperson overseeing a diverse group of over 65 assigned students and faculty. Advises the Commandant of the Eisenhower School on Army Service related matters of administration, doctrine, and joint military operations. Selected to lead and develop new curriculum examining the “Land Domain of Warfare” and industries that support the prosecution of and sustainment of 21st century military operations.

Responsible for leadership and direction of three staff branches supporting Current Operations, Strategic Readiness, and Publications for the US Army G4. Provides integrated strategic analysis of world events and advises senior leaders on capability, capacity, and feasibility of Army strategic logistics posture in support of global plans and contingencies. Supervises the Army Logistics Operations Center as part of the Army Global Operations Center. Provides strategic assessments on Army readiness posture and capabilities affecting operational and tactical outcomes. Integrates readiness and Army level policy documents in order to enhance logistics enterprise solutions supporting field commanders. Coordinates with Joint Staff and US Army Major Commands to implement sustained improvements in US Army readiness for ground combat operations.

Developed plans, policy, and programs to support US Army objectives in Europe and Africa. Principally responsible for strategic planning and resource management to support logistics, transportation, maintenance, supply, military police, engineer, and unit combat readiness programs for five subordinate agencies totaling over 7,500 military and civilian employees Integrated planning and operational design into NATO operations and developed strategies to support multinational military operations. Directly accountable for the synchronization and training of a 570 person military and civilian staff; monitors cross functional organizational budget execution of over $45 million annually.

Principally responsible for managing US Army seaport activities in 10 strategic European ports and leadership of a diverse multi-national military and civilian workforce of over 200 employees. Accountable for oversight and management of international Department of Defense surface transportation service contracts totaling $250 million in over 24 countries in Europe and Africa. Advised senior US Army commanders on strategic war plans and contingency deployments for military forces and equipment to support national defense posture and strategic implications of military and commercial transportation capabilities.

Principally responsible for planning, leadership, and employment of a 75 person multi-service staff and leadership of 450 multi-national forces to provide training, engineering, and institutional development of Afghan Security Forces in Helmand, Province. Oversees transportation, supply, security, and interoperability of Afghan Army and Police force training with regard to tactics and operational readiness. Accountable for the development of Afghan logistics and training depots in Helmand Province and supervised an active engineer construction portfolio of over 200 projects with a multi-year budget of over $100 million.

Principally responsible to the Commanding General US Army Materiel Command to coordinate policy, strategy, and daily operations of the executive staff. Planned and resourced international and domestic visits to subordinate agencies including direct coordination with Department of the Army, Department of Defense, Department of State, and Congressional Liaison personnel to ensure that the mission of the commanding general was successful. Planned and resourced detailed secure transportation for high level Department of Defense officials during official visits to Iraq, Afghanistan, Europe and Asia. Supported internal staff directors with daily executive functions and detailed staff planning support for the commanding general. Responsible for over $25,000 of office and tactical equipment to support the mission of the command and transported and secured secret and sensitive information related to war plans, support operations, and global logistics for the commanding general.

Principally responsible for the training, employment, and welfare of over 500 assigned Soldiers that provide combat logistics, transportation, medical, and maintenance support to and infantry brigade of over 5,000 Soldiers. Accountable for an annual operating budget of over $5.1 million and US Army combat equipment totaling over $158 million. Developed detailed training and deployment plans to support combat operations in South Baghdad, Iraq as part of “surge” operations in Operation Iraqi Freedom. While deployed, oversaw tactical employment of battalion operations throughout a 14 month period to distribute sensitive cargo, ammunition, general supplies, fuel, and personnel under combat tactical conditions.

Principally responsible to the Commanding General United States Transportation Command to coordinate policy, strategy, and daily operations of the executive staff. Planned and resourced international and domestic visits to subordinate agencies including direct coordination with Department of Defense, Department of State, and Congressional Leaders to ensure that the mission of the commanding general was successful. Coordinated secure transport of the commanding general and high level government officials to combat visits to Iraq, Afghanistan, Asia, and Europe to inspect key transportation nodes and functions. As a strategic transportation planner was responsible for resourcing naval, air, and land transport resources to support multiple combat deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom in two combat theaters of war. Provided expertise and US Army functional analysis to Air Force, Marine, and Naval planners to synchronize strategic war plans and sustainment flow to deployed combat units.

Principally responsible for integrating logistics, supply, transportation, and maintenance into brigade level combat operations in Northern Iraq. Personally responsible for the training and employment of over 400 Soldiers supporting an infantry brigade of over 4,000 Soldiers under combat conditions in Nineveh Province, Iraq. Planned and supervised resupply, tactical convoy, aerial delivery and medevac operations supporting combat operations during counter-insurgency operations. Developed detailed logistics support plans to support tactical and strategic deployment from Northern Iraq to Kuwait and Fort Campbell.

Selected as one of two principal logistics planners for the 101st Airborne Division with primary planning responsibility to deploy over 5,000 combat vehicles, 250 US Army aircraft, and over 12,000 Soldiers in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Coordinated with strategic planners in the Pentagon and higher headquarters to synchronize the flow of Soldiers, equipment and supplies from Fort Campbell, Kentucky to Mosul, Iraq in just 3 months using US Navy, US Air Force, and US Army transportation assets. Conducted tactical and combat planning to support movements of munitions, Soldiers, and equipment in support of combat objectives. Accountable for 10 assigned Soldiers and over $29,000 of US Army Equipment used to support transportation planning and operations as part of the 101st Airborne Division Headquarters Staff.
