I am a graduate student researcher in the laboratory of Professor Mark Rose (formerly a member of David Botstein's group). I use quantitative approaches to study the regulation of sexual reproduction processes, specifically meiosis, in yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae). Using genomic and proteomic tools such as microarrays and mass spectrometry, I investigate essential regulatory genes in meiosis whose functions have not yet been characterized.My interests extend beyond the laboratory to include the Molecular Biology department, Princeton graduate student life, and local community. I am an active member of the department and serve as the treasurer for the Graduate Molecular Biology Outreach Program (GMOP). GMOP members target local and regional audiences with the goal of familiarizing the public with science. As a Community Associate for the Graduate School, I plan events each month for graduate students. I organize social, educational, service oriented, professional development, cultural, and athletic programming to help build community amongst graduate students and their families.

I worked on various projects in the laboratory of Hilary Coller, Assistant Professor at Princeton University. The Coller lab is interested in quiescence, using human fibroblasts as model organism.

Mutation profiling and gene expression analysis on human breast and colon cancer clinical samples. Worked with TaqMan RT-PCR, robotic liquid handlers, large sample size studies.
