All my life I've been an employee. I like to work hard and do good work. I want to be recognized, rewarded and have the opportunity to grow. Well, being an employee doesn't always get you what you're worth or what you deserve. I definitely was not in control of my income, time or growth within the companies I've worked for. I started to look at my future more closely. I realized if I didn't make a change, I would look back with regret. I wanted more from a career. I imagined a career where I could help people and make a positive impact on their lives. I wanted to make more money and be in control of my time and feel freedom to work when and where I wanted. I wanted to work for a company that not only recognized and rewarded me for my work, but helped me grow, supported me and had a positive uplifting work environment without politics. When I first started working with World Financial Group I was sceptical. I never wanted to be a "salesperson" and so I had self doubt. I'd run into some early negatives with some things I'd read online too. But, I had hope that what people and leaders in the company were telling me was true. That what we do helps people have a better financial future by giving them access to education and exclusive products. That we never chase people for their wallet and always give them time to think about what's right for them. That we are able help people struggling with debt and bring relief from the stress of financial burden. That we can have a positive impact on families that lasts generations. I've been with WFG for some years now and my scepticism has turned into strong conviction that I made the right choice. I was able to start small by learning and earning in my spare time while keeping the security of my full time job. This is a company that shares my values of integrity and trust. There's a culture of recognition that makes people feel valued and it builds and uplifts people. I'm being mentored on how to build a real business that provides security for me, my family and the families I get to help. I'm excited and have hope for the future again! I'm working towards becoming debt free and creating financial freedom so one day I won't worry about the price of things.
