Paragon Advisors was acquired by Corient in May 2024.

• Help brainstorm, plan, and execute multiple networking and speaker events throughout the semester• Partner with other finance organizations to encourage students to attend the different events throughout the year• Create QR codes for students to get credit from our events in their classes and towards the CBA Edge Honors certificate

• Lead the management of the fund with assets of roughly $110,000 and oversee all 5 industry verticals• Created a new and better system to better track our portfolio’s weightings, past performance, and expected returns• Plan a semester long schedule of roughly 13 meetings with a mix of speakers, stock pitches, and regular meetings• Organize and plan weekly meetings, that include a market update and presentation with attendance of roughly 40 students• Make connections with local companies and industry professionals to speak with our club• Use campus resources to promote our club to increase membership with students who are interested in investing

• Assist in managing the club's entire Portfolio with AUM of ~$110,000• Manage the consumer sector portfolio with AUM of ~$20,000• Build financial models and assess opportunities within the Consumer sector

• One of five selected to UA Investment Club’s inaugural Zips on Wall Street program• Highly selective club for students interested in a potential career in investment banking and high finance• Undergo an extensive crash course in networking, accounting practices, and financial modeling• Mentor a younger member of the club, by helping with their resume and answering any general questions

• Conduct research on the economy, equities, and the stock market while managing roughly $450 million in assets under management by the firm• Use financial models and research to predict future performance of equities that we owned or were researching with the goal to outperform the S&P 500• Assisted in the research that led to us adding to Tesla, CrowdStrike, and Enphase Energy while selling Airbnb• Read and dissected up to 30 earnings calls across the portfolio during earnings season, trying to get a better understanding of each company we cover

• Doing daily financial tasks such as balancing the books, submitting invoices, paying vendors and independent contractors for both Akron Baseball LLC and Rubber City Concessions.• Learning various financial and accounting systems.

• Track the budget of $620 a semester and disperse the money to the recommended events by the group. • Completing an expense report on Microsoft Excel.• Communicate with a residence hall director on what is needed for an event.
