I was hired in August 2011 for a six to eight week special project that had the possibility of extending until the end of the year. The project was extended until early December, and, at that point, I was given the opportunity continue on in a different position which I have held since.After a year of working as QA, shipping, and work order kitting, I learned the assembly and test process for the line cards.Responsibilities include: Inspecting completed units, kitting new builds, inventory control and management of high value items, working with SAP, line card assembly, fiber optic cable fusion splicing, testing completed units.
