I am an experienced school leader and school improvement professional. I am the Deputy Director of Education for the Diocese of Guildford and work as an improvement adviser for the Schools Alliance for Excellence in Surrey.I have worked in primary schools for over 25 years in a range of contexts, including nine years as a headteacher and five years working for Hampshire Inspection and Advisory Service. This included work as the Leadership and Learning Partner for several school across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. I was the Hampshire LA data lead and a key member of the assessment team. Areas of Specialism: I have a particular interest in curriculum development, retrieval practice, formative assessment and tackling educational disadvantage. I enjoy helping schools build leadership capacity through coaching and mentoring. I regularly lead professional development courses and governor training.I am committed to helping school communities to grow, flourish and live life in all its fullness.
