Responsible for maintenance and review over: -Share Ownership Guidelines -Annual Proxy table disclosures -Performance Based Awards of AES officers -Long Term Compensation plan design -Assistance with Binder Preparation for Comp Committee -Integration of regulations related to Exec Compensation

Responsible for the global coordination of the Long Term Compensation process with approximately 2,500 grants awarded per year split between Stock Options, Restricted Stock Units, Performance Stock Units, and Performance Units. Coordination includes a team of 2 at the Corporate Office and several matrixed functions throughout the global AES organization including payroll, accounting, external reporting and tax. Fully outsourced the Long Term Compensation Administration function to Fidelity Stock Plan Services during this timeframe.

Project leader for the Corporate SAP Implementation Team. The overall project team consisted of approximately 40 team members split between Business Champions (functional experts) and consultants. This implementation consisted mainly of FICO, SCM, and HRM modules with several areas of custom development to suit the needs of the Corporate organization. The position was responsible for running the day to day project activities as well as intermittent reporting to the Project's Steering Committee.

This position was responsible mainly for all financial analysis and reporting for the Business Excellence function of the company reporting directly to the EVP. Workload consisted of budgeting, forecasting, and monthly variance analysis and reporting for a diverse group of businesses including HR, IT, Global Insurance, Engineering and Construction, Safety and Environmental. During my tenure in this position, the company had issues with granting practices for Long Term Compensation that drove a financial restatement. I was given responsibility for maintaining the restatement model. Upon completion of the restatement, several option grants were determined to have 409A issues. This position was given responsibility for administering the 409A Compliance Program as well as handling all 409A make-whole payments to the impacted employees.

This position was responsible for maintaining timely and accurate accounting as well as maintaining adequeate controls over the Corporate Headquarters of the AES Corporation. This position managed a team of 7 accounting professionals in the areas of General Accounting, Intercompany Accounting, and Accounts Payable.
