Assignment spans 14 US States, 24 facilities, and over 220 H-60 airframes. Primarily my focus was rendering solutions to maintenance issues otherwise not covered in Army TM’s to individual units senior leadership. That required an extensive knowledge of current TM procedures, DMWR authorized procedures, and Sikorsky Standard repairs. I also recommended alternate repair methods as requested to AMCOM LAR and Engineering in an effort to avoid cost induced replacement. Annual cost avoidance is in excess of $4,000,000.00 in NCC (New Component Cost). Provided recommendations to unit leadership for partnerships and business development opportunities seen both with Sikorsky as well as outside vendors. Provided assistance in identifying areas where additional training may be required. Emphasized safety precautions. Demonstrated 'best method' for the installation of modifications and retrofit kits. Rendered technical guidance to resolve difficult and unusual maintenance problems. Work with SAC ILS team on a weekly basis to resolve immediate AOG part requests and other logistical issues that affect production flow of the customer. Provided an analysis of maintenance program and recommendations that may be beneficial to the customer. I have served as a liaison to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (Sikorsky) Field Service Engineering Group (FSEG) for the exchange of information relative to the maintenance of the aircraft including notification of urgent maintenance difficulties and/or material requirements to ensure rapid response to operator readiness requirements. Currently have over two hundred resolved FTR’s (Field Technical Reports) that outline the level of commitment to the resolving customer issues. Submitted weekl Show less
