As a graduate geotechnical engineer, I have been actively involved in several site work based projects. Whilst supervising sub-contractors, I can efficiently describe soil samples, carry out in-situ tests and create logs of trial pits, window samples and boreholes to gain understanding of subsurface horizons and their geotechnical properties. Following completion of projects, I reliably and independently carry out monitoring visits at a range of sites. In such visits, I have demonstrated the capability to prioritise health and safety when working alone, and use appropriate equipment to measure groundwater levels, gas and volatile concentrations, alongside atmospheric pressures and flow rates within boreholes.

• Efficiency and motivation is important for this role as it is key in providing a satisfying experience for every customer that shop in-store and have their purchase within a matter of minutes. • This role has enhanced my interpersonal skills, necessary for customer interaction and satisfaction.

• Working independently as a deliver driver, but part of a team of six staff members to provide an efficient production line, allowing the parcel to be delivered on time.• Liaising with staff and clients situated all over Essex. Developing crucial communication skills.

• Working alongside another member of staff, enhanced awareness of safety and hazards issues which were involved in the day to day routine; health and safety is of the upmost importance.• Gathered valuable hands-on technical experience working with and alongside CCTV maintenance surveys teams when investigating underground pipelines. All of the gathered information was compiled into a full report including the CCTV footage on DVD for the clients. I have had the pleasure of working alongside Taylor Wimpey, running maintenance checks via CCTV surveys.
